I’m now using Flying Logic 4 on a 4k monitor, and the font rendering when zoomed out gets very thin and hard to read, such that I have to zoom in pretty significantly to improve readability–thereby losing the benefits of using the program on a 4k monitor.
I can appreciate that improving type rendering might be a significant hurdle in the rendering pipeline/engine. An alternative would be a font selection in the application preferences. I’d need to select both the typeface from my installed fonts (Helvetica, Gotham, Inter) and the font weight (300, 500, 700, etc.) They feel hard-coded right now, and surfacing them as user options would be very helpful.
